Oregon has lots of green all year long (moss green, pine green, fern green… uh, moss green) but we’re starting to get some color too. I love that the daffodils which are our first color of spring are the color of sunshine.
Love the picture, Jessa! There’s an old Presbyterian church on Highway 101 near Warrenton that creates a huge cross from daffodils every Easter. It’s amazing.
They are plucky little things considering this first day of spring was a kaleidoscopic of rain, wind, sun, wind, rain, and they just nodded right through it.
These are in your yard, right? I was visiting family in Salem yesterday and saw several yards with yellow daffodils and purple crocus peeking above the soil. Truly made me smile.
My primroses and hyacinth are also blooming, and the tulips aren’t far behind. Which means it’s almost time for strawberries! …Maybe I’m getting a little ahead of myself 🙂

2:45 AM !! Are you procrastinating again?
The miracle of pre-scheduling and/or caffeine. I’ll never tell 😉
